Overview
Clearview Social is a leading employee advocacy platform that helps companies boost revenue through more effective, systematic social media engagement.
As the platform grew rapidly and organically, internal stakeholders recognized that the user experience had become inconsistent and confusing, preventing the product from reaching its full potential.
// A/B testing results were overwhelmingly positive, validating the improvements and new features. To ensure a smooth transition, the Clearview team has been strategically rolling out changes gradually, addressing stakeholder concerns about potential disruption to existing users.

Discovery
Usability audit
Our first task was to conduct an extensive audit of the existing experience. Working closely with the Clearview Social team we identified opportunities for improvement, such as the primary navigation, inconsistent design patterns, and a fragmented content structure.
Information architecture
Starting with low-fidelity wireframes, we explored alternative layouts and structural approaches to improve navigation, streamline workflows, and clarify content hierarchy. Our goal was to create a smoother, more intuitive experience that better supported user needs across the platform.

Design
A new design system
Following user testing, we overhauled the site architecture and simplified navigation to create a more cohesive and user-friendly experience. We also built a robust component library grounded in Clearview Social’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across the platform and giving the team a scalable foundation for future development.
new design GUIDELINES
I created a component library, paired with new, clear design guidelines, which has empowered the Clearview Social team to improve existing features with greater consistency and efficiency. It also provides a strong foundation for designing and building future features as the platform continues to grow.

What the team said
“We can put Amanda to work on projects and know that — given some space — she’ll drive the show in a logical, well thought-through manner. Also, wherever we drop the ball she’ll catch it.”
Sam Jeibmann
Executive Creative Director
“Amanda excels at the early stages of a project where the client throws half-baked ideas at you, and you need to make sense of them and turn them into something more meaningful and thought through. She is exceptionally open-minded, constantly takes in new information, and always finds a way to put it into the work.”
Matthew Baranauskas
Executive Director of Design Strategy, Manager
